A one-of-a-kind reversible Raya shawl, handcrafted by Rayana from reclaimed silk sari cloth.

As founder of Sari for Change, Rayana rescues treasured sari remnants once worn and loved, selecting pieces for their softness, history, and enduring beauty. She then creates each Raya shawl herself-pairing contrasting silks, hand-stitching every join, and transforming precious fragments into something whole once more.

This piece pairs a playful, nature-inspired silk in layered shades of green, patterned with abstract organic forms that evoke foliage, movement, and story. The silk is smooth, lightweight, and fluid, draping effortlessly with a soft sheen. It is contrasted by a serene sage silk reverse, understated and elegant, finished with a richly detailed border in warm rust and gold tones that adds a touch of heritage craftsmanship. Reversible by design, it offers two distinct expressions in one-bold, expressive pattern on one side, and calm, refined simplicity on the other.
