One of a kind, crafted from sheer organza with Banarasi detailing, this kimono features a vibrant turquoise base with delicate floral motifs and subtle embellishment. The lower portion transitions into a striking pink and lavender Banarasi panel, woven with intricate botanical patterns and metallic detailing.

Banarasi is a traditional Indian textile originating from Varanasi (formerly Banaras), known for its intricate weaving, rich patterns and metallic detailing. Its ornate finish contrasts beautifully with the light, translucent organza.

Designed with dramatic bell sleeves, a long flowing silhouette and a coordinating self-tie belt, it can be worn open or cinched at the waist

Styling

Layer over a simple slip dress, tonal separates or swimwear to allow the sheer organza and contrasting Banarasi detailing to take centre stage. Equally suited to occasion dressing, resort wear or an elevated evening look.

Care

Dry clean recommended, or gently hand wash in cold water to preserve the original sari fabric and delicate detailing.

Impact

This garment is made from a reclaimed sari, diverting textile waste from landfill.

It saves approximately 2,500 litres of water and avoids 2–3 kg of CO₂ emissions compared to new production.

Through the Sacred Economy, its creation supports skills development and income generation - enabling women to build independent, home-based enterprises.
