One of a kind and thoughtfully designed, this Lulu Jacket brings together the richness of Banarasi weaving and the understated elegance of silk, creating a versatile reversible piece that feels both timeless and contemporary.
Lightweight with a graceful drape, it features a relaxed open-front silhouette that can be worn on either side, offering two distinct looks in one beautifully crafted garment. Whether styled casually or for a special occasion, it effortlessly elevates any outfit.
Size: Large (UK 14–16)
One side is crafted from reclaimed Banarasi sari fabric in a striking turquoise blue, adorned with intricate woven floral motifs in deep raspberry, emerald, and gold tones. Delicate geometric detailing and an ornate woven border frame the jacket beautifully, while the richly patterned reverse panel showcases the artistry and heritage of traditional Indian weaving. The reverse reveals a luminous silk-blend side in a fresh sea-glass turquoise hue. Minimalist and refined, this side highlights the natural sheen and fluidity of the fabric, offering a clean, contemporary look that contrasts beautifully with the ornate Banarasi side.
Together, the two sides create a balance of statement and simplicity - one celebrating intricate craftsmanship and heritage, the other embracing effortless elegance through colour and texture.
Styling Tip: Wear the Banarasi side as the focal point of your outfit with neutral separates, or reverse to the silk-blend side for a sophisticated pop of colour paired with denim, linen, or tailored trousers.
Wash Care: Gentle cold hand wash recommended. Handle with care to preserve the delicate woven detailing, silk fibres, and the craftsmanship that makes each Lulu Jacket entirely unique.
