This reversible Lulu Jacket combines a richly woven purple Banarasi textile with a luminous silk-blend reverse, creating two striking expressions in one piece.
The Banarasi side features a deep jewel-toned purple base, scattered with intricate multicoloured woven motifs in green, fuchsia, gold and silver tones. The back becomes the focal point, showcasing an elaborate arrangement of large paisley-inspired motifs and ornate metallic borders, while coordinating woven detailing along the cuffs and front opening celebrates the richness of the original textile.
Reverse the jacket to reveal a softer powder-blue silk blend, woven with subtle tonal floral texture and delicate geometric motifs. Vibrant fuchsia panels and borders bring a playful contrast to the pale blue, while touches of purple connect the two sides and allow elements of the Banarasi textile to become part of the design.
