A vibrant interplay of colour, embroidery and contrast, this off-shoulder dress is crafted from a repurposed vintage silk-blend sari in vivid lime green and cobalt blue. The original textile brings together subtle tonal florals with richly embroidered botanical motifs, while the striking diagonal placement of the blue sari panel creates a bold, asymmetric composition.
The adjustable gathered neckline is finished with a contrasting cobalt-blue tie and delicate beaded detailing, allowing the dress to be styled on or off the shoulder. Softly gathered midi-length balloon sleeves add volume, incorporating both colourways of the original sari and finished with decorative border cuffs.
Designed in a free size, the dress falls loosely to full length with an elegant, fluid silhouette. The silk-blend fabric gives the piece a soft drape and subtle lustre, while embroidered floral motifs and delicate scattered embellishments celebrate the richness of the original textile.
