Celebrating Evolving Identity
A Second Life
Turning heritage textiles into upcyled, sustainable, one-of-a-kind fashion.
A discarded sari, once cherished in a closet, is handed to us to empower a woman. From the donation of the sari to the upskilling of women in townships, and finally to the conscious consumer, this process embodies a circular economy - transforming a once-loved garment into a unique piece, preventing it from ending in a landfill. We invite customers to see how a heritage sari can be worn across cultures. Each sari becomes a one-of-a-kind garment, as exclusive as the wearer.

The Banarasi Collection
This range depicts the rich heritage of Banarasi saris, a timeless piece of textile history and culture. These saris are not just garments; they are works of art crafted by skilled artisans. A Banarasi sari can take up to 15 days to 6 months to complete depending on the intricate designs - a treasured piece. This range at House of Nala is about preserving the tradition, expressing the wealth of a women and bringing it to life in the now, displaying its beauty and grace. The twirl of our filled kimonos is about the dance of life as we shed our layers. Our reversible jackets depicts the everchanging landscape of our reality.
Impact
